DESCRIPTION OF MINOR CRITERIA
1. Xerosis
This is a term applied to any condition of the skin in which dryness is
more than the normal
state. The clinical appearance is one of dryness with fine lines and
scaling in a pattern over
the skin. It may or may not be intermittently associated with
erythematous patches, and
excoriation is not a common feature. The condition often involves the
legs.
